Cassandra Quave teaches, "The answer to some of the world’s most pressing problems could be held within our oldest remedies."
A few years ago, my son, Joseph, urged me to hear Dr. Quave speak at Virginia Tech when I was in the area. He met her while on a trip to Belize. I did, and was delighted.
Cassandra is a leading medical ethnobotanist on a "quest to develop new ways to fight illness and disease through the healing powers of plants."
