June’s update from UGA Camden County reports two pressing developments: Japanese beetles are flourishing across Georgia’s ornamental and vegetable landscapes—residents are urged to report sightings to EDDMapS to help slow the spread—and submissions are now open through June 30 for the 2026 “Let’s Grow Georgia” calendar, featuring local garden photos and monthly UGA gardening tips.
