Return and Refund Policy

General Returns
Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us at john@gogardennow.com before returning any item.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in the same condition as received
  • Items must be in original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is required

Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

Do not return items without contacting us first. We will provide the correct return instructions and address.


Product-Specific Return Conditions

Because many of our items ship directly from specialized growers and manufacturers, return eligibility may vary by product.

Live Plants and Plant Disclaimer

  • Live plants are not eligible for return
  • If your plant arrives damaged or in poor condition, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photos
  • Approved claims may be replaced or refunded, in part or the whole, at our discretion
  • Plants are living things, not guaranteed outcomes
  • Results depend on care, climate, soil, etc.
  • No guarantees of survival beyond delivery condition

Perishable or Seasonal Items

  • These items are generally non-returnable unless damaged in transit

Drop-Shipped and Specialty Items

  • Some items may be subject to supplier-specific return conditions, including restocking fees or return restrictions
  • We will coordinate all returns on your behalf

Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging.

We will work with you to provide a replacement or refund.


Non-Returnable Items

  • Gift cards
  • Books, DVDs, software, and e-books
  • Any item not in its original condition or returned beyond 30 days

Partial Refunds (if applicable)
Partial refunds may be granted for:

  • Items returned in used or damaged condition not due to our error
  • Items missing parts
  • Items returned after the 30-day period

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of approval or rejection.

If approved, refunds will be issued to your original method of payment.


Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund:

  2. Contact your credit card company
  3. Contact your bank

Sale Items
Sale items are non-refundable.


Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Contact us to request an exchange.


Gifts
If marked as a gift at purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit upon return.

If not marked as a gift, refunds will be issued to the original purchaser.


Shipping Returns
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is defective or damaged.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If returning an item over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
