In a recent announcement, "The Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens at the Historic Bamboo Farm (CGBG), operated by University of Georgia Cooperative Extension, will soon be spreading holiday cheer with their December Nights and Holiday Lights event in Savannah." Visitors can can enjoy almost 5 acres of the gardens illuminated for the holidays.

While the common name doesn't sound so appealing, its uses are intriguing. According to the article, "In the provinces of the Mekong Delta, there is a tree that people often plant in their gardens for shade. Moreover, people often pick the leaves of this plant to use as raw vegetables, served with some dishes."
