What is gynostemma tea?
Gynostemma tea is made from the leaves of Gynostemma pentaphyllum, a climbing vine native to the hills of southern China and parts of Southeast Asia. Around those parts it goes by another name—jiaogulan—and, with a wink and a bit of folklore, “the herb of immortality.” Take that title with a grain of salt and a steady mind.
How do I use Gynostemma Tea?
Several studies have indicated that a daily dosage of approximately 10 milligrams of extract, taken three times daily, may be the most effective and safe way to promote cardiac and metabolic health.
