I'm always looking for great ideas to enhance our learning, and I found some to share with you. The National Gardening Association offers some printable downloads for Fall Nature Scavenger Hunts. There's one for younger children, and one for older kids. They're very colorful and the illustrations make them easy to follow.

The weather is cooling, the days are shortening, and for many it's time to put the garden to bed for the winter. The steps never change, but we often forget. Thankfully, there are lots of resources available to remind us.

There's a new gardening resource I think you'll like. It's called Growit! According to the website, "GrowIt! is a mobile app community with a mission to connect, educate, and inspire folks to dig plants. We provide a space for you to ask questions, get plants identified, organize projects, and share photos of your plant babies."
