Sedum 'Burrito' Donkey Tail
Sedum Burrito: A Cascade of Plump Blue-Green Beads
Sedum ‘Burrito’, often called Donkey Tail, packs its trailing stems with rounded blue-green leaves. As the strands lengthen, they form a wonderfully full cascade over the edge of a planter.
- 🟢 Plump, rounded leaves create a densely beaded look
- 🌿 Long, trailing stems show beautifully in hanging baskets
- 🩵 Blue-green foliage adds a cool tone to your collection
- 🌸 Pink flowers may appear at the stem tips
Choose Burrito for a hanging pot or high shelf where its strands have room to grow. Set it somewhere it will not be brushed or moved often, so those delicate leaves can stay looking their best.
Care Tips
Light: Bright, filtered light with some gentle sun. Introduce stronger sunlight gradually and shelter from scorching heat.
Water: Allow the mix to dry between waterings, then drain well. Water sparingly in winter; do not water simply to cool the plant.
Soil: Use a gritty, freely draining cactus and succulent mix.
Potting: Choose a secure pot with drainage holes. Repot gently and only when needed, as leaves detach easily.
Temperature: Protect from freezing and cold, wet conditions.
Humidity: Normal household humidity is suitable; provide airflow and avoid misting.
Handling: Hold the pot rather than the stems. Avoid rubbing the leaves and their powdery coating.

Care Instructions
Please visit our Succulent Care info page for more details.
To ensure the health of succulents, it is important to plant them in porous, well-draining soil. Succulents require little watering, but don't like to sit in wet soil. To create an adequate cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage.
Make sure to leave drought periods between waterings to prevent the plant from water-logging.
