The story behind this design
Pink is the difficult rose colour — too pale and it disappears on paper, too strong and it turns synthetic. DipaliZ settled on a dusty mid-pink with grey in the shadows, closer to a garden rose past its first day than a florist's bud. The blooms are drawn open, petals loosening, which gives the pad an unhurried quality quite unlike the usual tight rosette.
