Digitalis purpurea ‘Dalmatian White’ is a refined, early-blooming foxglove that produces elegant towers of creamy white, bell-shaped flowers—each throat softly speckled within, like ink dropped on parchment. Unlike traditional foxgloves that bide their time, this variety flowers in its first season, bringing height and grace without delay.

Reaching 18–24 inches tall, it forms a compact, upright clump ideal for borders, cottage gardens, and woodland edges. The blooms rise in late spring to early summer, drawing bees and hummingbirds with quiet authority.

It performs best in partial shade but will tolerate full sun where soils remain evenly moist and well-drained. Given decent soil and a little care, it stands reliably and may self-sow lightly, continuing its presence year after year.

A word of caution: all parts of foxglove are toxic if ingested. Handle with respect—this is beauty with a guarded edge.
