Hydration and use
Place the block in a container large enough for expansion and add water gradually. Break apart softened material as it hydrates. Coco coir contributes aeration and moisture retention, but it is not a complete fertilizer. Adjust the potting mix, irrigation, and fertility program to the crop and test results. Rinsing or buffering needs vary by product and intended use, so follow the package and product documents.
