Stalked Aeonium: Glossy Rosettes on Stout Stems

Aeonium undulatum carries large rosettes of glossy green, tongue-shaped leaves on sturdy upright stems. Its elevated foliage gives the plant a striking, tree-like presence.

• 🌿 Glossy leaves: Broad green foliage overlaps at the stem tips.
• 🌳 Upright stems: Stout stalks raise the rosettes above the pot.
• 🌼 Yellow blooms: Mature plants can produce tall flower clusters.

Give Stalked Aeonium room to develop in a bright, sheltered container.

Care Tips

Light: Provide bright light and introduce direct sun gradually. Offer afternoon shade in intense summer heat.

Water: Water when the soil has dried, then drain thoroughly. Reduce watering if hot summer weather pauses growth, and during cool, inactive periods.

Soil: Use a gritty, fast-draining succulent mix in a pot with drainage holes.

Temperature: Protect from frost and freezing weather; bring containers under cover before cold conditions arrive.

Use a well-draining potting mix suited to the plant, as described in the Care Tips above. Choose a container with drainage holes and avoid leaving roots in waterlogged soil.

Allow the soil to dry to the level recommended in the Care Tips above before watering again. Always drain excess water.

Weather Conditions

• When ordering, be mindful that living succulents can freeze. If you live in an area that is below 40°F, please consider purchasing plant until the weather is more suitable.
