Miniature Wandering Dude: A Soft Cascade of Tiny Leaves

Miniature Wandering Dude (Callisia repens) forms a fine-textured mat of small green leaves on slender stems. Its trailing growth quickly gives a little planter a soft, leafy edge.

🌿 Tiny pointed leaves create a delicate, close-knit texture
🪴 Trailing stems suit small baskets and shelf displays
✂️ Easy-to-shape growth responds well to gentle trimming
🌱 Branching stems help create a fuller plant

Choose this small-leaved trailing plant for a bright, sheltered display with regular moisture. It adds a fresh green accent beside larger-leaved houseplants.

Care Tips

Light: Bright, filtered light. Shelter from harsh midday sun.

Water: Water when the surface begins to dry, maintaining light moisture without sogginess. Reduce in cooler conditions and avoid extended drought.

Soil: Use a freely draining houseplant mix.

Potting: Use a pot with drainage holes and avoid an oversized container that stays wet too long.

Temperature: Keep warm and frost-free, above 50°F (10°C).

Humidity: Provide good airflow and avoid damp, stagnant conditions.

Pruning: Pinch stem tips and trim long growth to keep the display full.
