Liriope 'Pee Dee Ingot' is a fantastic introduction from Ursula Herz of South Carolina named after South Carolina's Pee Dee River. Grow it in sun or shade. Color is yellow with sun exposure, fades to chartreuse/green in late summer topped with spikes of purple flowers. What a nice combination!

'Pee Dee Ingot' forms a clump 15" tall and about 18" wide, so it's great for edging and borders. Since it doesn't form rhizomes, plant the clumps closely together if you need it for ground cover. Coastal gardeners will appreciate its moderate salt-tolerance. We recommend that old foliage be trimmed off before spring for best appearance.
