Comments: Cinnamon Fern - aka Osmunda cinnamomea - is a beautiful perennial that performs well in a wide range of climate zones. It'll grow almost anywhere in the United States. Brown fronds, emerging from the center of the plant, mature to pale green and are divided with lance-shaped leaflets. Rust-colored hairlike tufts are at the base of each frond. Cinnamon fern is clump-forming. Mature height is 30 inches to 60 inches. Foliage is dormant in winter. Cinnamon fern is deer resistant.
